The Sunderland Private Landlords Association is a non-profit making organisation. Its members are landlords who rent out property in the Sunderland area and who strive to provide a professional service to tenants that is second to none.
The association helps landlords by assisting them to keep up to date with the information required to correctly and professionally let residential property, including financial, legal and technical matters and also by representing their views to other organisations, including the local council.
We meet, usually once a month (See the 'meetings’ page) to discuss the latest developments, air our concerns, devise action strategy & seek help from other experienced members about specific problems.
The Members area is a password protected page and amongst other things, contains landlord contact details and information about tenants who have either faced eviction for property damage or for non-payment of rent or similar issues.
SPLA membership currently costs just £30 per year. Prospective members can drop us an e-mail and we will contact you to arrange a chat. Alternatively, prospective members can just come along to our next meeting where they will be made most welcome.
During the COVID19 pandemic, meetings have been suspended. You can still get in touch with enquiries though - just click on the “Contact us” button above
